5 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 11 K, HBP for jay jax. aside from his BABIP against being over .500 tonight, i'd say it's a pretty great outing.

he has made 2 errors though - they came on back to back plays in the 5th.

peoria leads 7-3; drew rundle is randomly having a big game with a single, homer, walk and 3 RBI. burke is 0-2 with a walk, lemahieu 1-3, lake 2-3, flaherty 1-3 with a double. jackson is out of the lineup again - not sure if it's because of the collision a few nights ago or what. archer was his usual entertaining self - 4 IP, 3 H, 3 R, 5 BB, 5 K.

tennessee had a big comeback win with 2 runs in the 9th to stay a game behind west tennessee. colvin had 2 singles in 4 ABs, wright was 3-3 with a double and walk (future 4th outfielder, or AAAA guy?). castro didn't start but pinch ran. schlitter managed to not blow the game in the 9th. the smokies finish their season with a big 5 game series at west tenn next week.

iowa was rained out - borrrring.

I'm not sure what Ty Wright is. Solid enough hitter, but not enough power and he's a corner OF. Is that really a backup MLB profile? I don't think so, but I could see him get looks in the right situations. I think he's the type of guy that may get a look after spending a few years in AAA.

Don't know as much about the minor league system as I would like, but I see Campana has 50 SB. Is this a lot in A or are there a lot of SB because the pitchers and catchers aren't as polished?

It's a lot. He has plus speed and is sporting a 50/15 SB/CS line in Daytona (and a 61/17 line overall). He needs to work on the CS numbers, but he could find his way onto a bench as a 4th or 5th OF/pinch runner type of guy.

Thanks. Where were his first 11/2? Boise?

Jackson didnt play cause of a sore right wrist that has been nagging him.

Hatley will see the doctor tomorrow but he is going to hear those two words that pitchers never want to hear (T.J.). Whitlock joined us from Boise today.
