I really dont see them giving him up for nothing considering the Brewers had earlier tried to aquire him and not offered enough. I wonder if they trade Bill Hall for him.

Arizona's still insisting on getting the equivalent of a 2nd round talent in return for Davis, matching the comp pick they'd otherwise get from him being a Type B FA after this season. If that's the case, I don't see the Brewers making a deal. If anything, they'll just take a chance on trying to sign him in the offseason. Giving up anything substantial in a trade at this point is probably pretty stupid.
