Yeah, except for the team with the best fuckign record in baseball.

 

Houston had a winning record until we pantsed them in the end of July.

Even if he didn't say it, I'm attributing this to that drooling buffoon Dave Kaplan.

 

It wasn't he reporting it. Whether he was the guy who came up with it or not, I don't know.

The Dodgers? The Cubs split a 4-game set with them (minus Manny).

 

I can't read, I saw 2 wins, and just assumed the 3 game set. I guess it's true then.

 

ETA: The whole "come back to me when you start beating the really good teams" thing just pisses me off. People have this thought in their head that the Phillies have their record because they've beaten the Dodgers 42 times.

 

Nobody's denying that this was an ugly mediocre team without Ramirez. Since he's come back they're 17-10 with a 2-2 record at home agains winning teams and a 2-4 record on the road. It's a cheap shot meant to freak out the erik316s of the world.
