Am I off base in comparing Tim Alderson to Jesse Foppert?

Am I off base in comparing Tim Alderson to Jesse Foppert?

At his peak, Foppert had better stuff, IMO. Alderson has better control than Foppert ever did. Not sure it's the best comparison, but that's my 2 cents.

Alderson's only 20, and he's doing very well at AA already(no walks, no HR, not a ton of hits). If he can raise his K rate as he matures he'll be a very attractive player.
