I've got an offer for free tickets for Monday night's Dodgers/Cards game. No way I'm going to see The Greatest Fans in Baseball give Holliday a 10 minute standing ovation for his first home at bat.

Lugo leads off the Cardinal 7th with a triple.

he'll be this year's felipe lopez, a guy who sucks and gets released but then turns great in st. louis.

You've seen this movie before ??

Wild card......?

We lead the loss column..

IMHO were a better team than the Giants and Rockies, and we can take the Card. The of course theres the matter of playing the Phillies or Dodgers, but we'll see.

I agree but I'm sure not conceding the division yet.

I think were going to have to get used to this from the Cardinals for the remainder of the season. Their lineup is just too damn good.

well yeah if losers like julio lugo and rick ankiel keep raking then they will be unstoppable.

As cliche as it sounds, Soriano and/or Bradley getting their acts together would be as good as any trade, but its just not happeneing, not on a consistant basis.

Bradley can't hit from the left side. As long as Lou keeps throwing him out there and as long as he keeps hitting left-handed against right-handed pitching, he'll continue to be horrible. I have much more confidence in Soriano hitting one of those hot streaks. He's going through a little bit of one now as his average is nearing .250 and he looks more locked-in at the plate.

We still need to make a move for a bat before we get a pitcher.
