CAMILLA, Texas - Searchers have recovered the body of a former reliever with the Chicago Cubs who was reported missing on a southeast Texas lake.

Jessie Edward Hollins, 39, apparently drowned while fishing below Lake Livingston Dam on Thursday afternoon, according to the Texas Department of Parks & Wildlife. Hollins was a native of Conroe.

I remember when Hollins was being hyped as a possible future closer. That didn't exactly pan out.

It still worked out better for him than his latest fishing expedition.

I feel bad for laughing at this, but damn that's funny

Reminds me of that ex-Cub who was killed by lightning while out on a lake cause he was wearing a chain necklace. Who was that again?
