Went to the Kane County/Burlington game tonight, and here is a brief synopsis:

 

Innings 1 thru 8.5: Eric Hosmer hits the ball hard, Kane County makes lots of errors

 

Bottom of the 9th: Kane County loads the bases with 2 outs, down 2 runs. Guy hits a single to right and Burlington's RF throws a laserbeam to the plate to win the game. Both benches briefly clear for some reason after he's called out.

19-year old righty Luis Liria must have gotten his visa paperwork in order because he got bumped up from the DSL and is making his U.S. debut by starting for Mesa today.

 

18-year old righty Jose Rosario also came over from the DSL and made his stateside debut yesterday in Mesa. Threw a scoreless 9th.
