This is a little out of control. I expect people to manage their teams to avoid this situation. It will happen on occasion, but I am concerned when people have this problem multiple times, particularly in consecutive weeks. We will institute a new policy:

1. In your first offense, you will lose the last start(s) to get you back to 7. If you have multiple starts at the same time, the higher scoring ones will be removed first.

2. In your second offense, you will lose your highest scoring start(s) of the week.

3. In your third offense, you will be asked if you would like to continue as a manager.

Please post here if you notice your opponent has gone over or is going to over in starts.

Consider this a bump of a sticky since Bukie couldn't find this rule. :P

I have now incorporated GS (Games Started) into the scoring system, which will now track each managers starts for the week. There is no excuse for going over on your starts now. And no, you do not receive any points for GS. Sorry!

2011 Season Start Abuse

Week 1: Chuck and Bob T.

Week 3: Bob T.

Week 4: Clint

Week 20: Bob T.

Since it's Bob's second offense, I believe that means he loses his best start.
