lilly, slumping soriano and 10 year minor league vet bobby scales. i'm thinking this isn't the inning we bust out.

You could use logic like that with any 3 cubs players in the lineup. That is why we will not score today.

Soriano loves those breaking balls in the dirt

I thought Fuku taught everyone plate discipline.

Sori's having Dusty-flashbacks.

well next up is fukudome, lee and hoffpauir, who are all hitting fairly well, so i'd say it would be pretty bad logic to assume no offense from them.

Fukudome, Lee, Hoffpauir isn't horrible. They've all been fairly effective in May at least.

Tommy Lasorda is at the game today. He is awesome! I hope they get him up into the booth. The guy is a million laughs.

He's a senile and crazy old man, which is amusing.

But the stuff that happened to his son? *Sigh*

"Hey man, it was cancer. Got it? "

Ugh, this is gonna come down to which pitcher breaks down first.

Yep which would have been Chad if we had a big league lineup today. You have to score in the second against him.

Exactly. Is the LA bullpen any good?
