Why pinch hit Reed Johnson for Micah in any situation?

 

I could maybe understand putting Reed in for defensive purposes in the top of the 9th, but I also don't understand why Micah was pinch hit for. It's not like the guy has zero success against lefties in his career. He was pretty decent against lefties throughout his minor league career. For some reason Lou has decided that Micah can only hit against RH pitching.

Exactly, I don't understand it. Micah was the best power hitter in today's lineup, you could argue he's the most talented hitter overall in today's lineup. Lou needs to open his eyes and realize this guy is going to be a vital part of this year's team's success.

it's worse because the right handed reliever was ready in the Astros bullpen, so it was not going to be a favorable match up either way. And the lefty was walking people.
