My matchup with abuck is tightening up. Peavy pitched like Peavy today, which cut into my lead. I still lead by 25, but he has a 2-1 pitching advantage remaining.

Looks like my dreams of an undefeated season are over. I just didn't get the pitching this week. But on the bright side Mauer hit a homerun on his first day back.

This is a better week. Almost a 50 point lead with 3 starts left vs. Alamo's 0. Hopefully neither of my 2 starts today suck too bad, i'll be happy with 0 points right now.

Just noticed that someone picked up Reimold a couple days ago. I can't remember the new rule. Are we allowed to grab minor leaguers before their major league debut - or do we have to wait until the mid-year draft after the new players get added?

Didn't know if it applied to people that had been on someone's roster previously or not. I had Reimold for a couple years, traded him, and it looks as if whomever I traded him to dropped him. If it applies to people that had been on rosters previously, i'll be happy to drop him. I took it as the rule applied to anyone newly added to the database.

Actually, sorry, I dropped him on 4/5/09. I didn't trade him to anyone. Let me know if this isn't ok to pick him back up, and i'll let him go again.

My impression was that the only ones up for grabs were the ones that had any mlb experience. If Reimold got called up, then he'd be eligible to be picked up again.

I love me some John Danks. I thought I'd lose this week after Lohse's start was rained out (and that took Zimmerman out too). But thanks to Danks' second negative outing of the week I pulled it out. Meanwhile Adam had Richmond (21 points today) on his bench. He has to be PISSED. \:D/
