BTW... I just don't think that we're very good this year.

we'll find out in 146 games!

What has this Cubs team shown that shows they can be a great team this year? Lee is aging fast, Soto still can't hit, our bullpen is a complete epic failure, our rotation isn't as good as last year, Milton Bradley was a horrid signing thus far, Mike Fontenot and Ryan Theriot are sub-par, our bench is anorexic, etc.

Doesn't it bother him that he keeps swinging at the same pitch? Boggs knows Soriano is a sucker for it with these two starts against us. So ridiculous.

16 games and we at worst a .500 team after today. If you don't think that they are capable of much more you will at some point this season.

I just think this team has too many holes. Much more than last year.

These guys are killing my ticket resale values. C'mon Cubs!

That's the only good thing for me. I don't have any tickets and am figuring now that I can pick some up cheap.

I'm assuming at some point our luck with risps will change right?

Haven't we had a problem with RISP for years now?

we've hit better with RISP than we have without RISP each of the last three years...

I can handle us struggling, it happens. But, for the love of all things holy, do that Cardinals always have to play way over their heads? Does every Brian Barden and Ryan Ludwick have to turn into gold?

There are holes but the core of this team is still there. And as long as we are somewhat competitive we have the resources to fix those holes in season. It's hard to evaluate a team when they are playing like this since everything seems like a negative. But since the cubs haven't played particularly well at all this season you have to wait well more than 16 games to judge this team.

Always. That's where the terrible comes from. It was bad enough when Pujols, Rolen and Edmonds were setting the world on fire. It's far, far worse to see the Cardinals' Collective Scrubs of the Midwest convention ecking out bloop hits and seeing-eye grounders.
