I finally get to see some playoff hockey!

F the hair-pulling Canadian pansies! Lets go Blues!

I hate to say it, but I'm looking forward to this game and rooting for the Blues!

Kujay you going to be posting in here during the game?

Kind of a weak response from all the other hockey fans on the board for their teams... oh well.

Just an update on some stats from tonight:

Through 3 games of the 2009 Stanley Cup Playoffs there have been:

189 Hits (63/gm)

174 Shots (58/gm)

90 Blocked Shots (30/gm)

Got to freaking love playoff hockey!!!

Yeah I'll be around.

And it's the first round. When the Hawks weren't involved, I didn't really get into the playoffs until the second round.

It really is completely different. I just hope the refs remember to swallow their whistles and let the little stuff go. In April and May, not every parallel stick is holding and every tumble isn't tripping.

Yep.

I also expect the Blues to increase that hit average per game. I think we see 30+ each from each team... Blues will be near 40.

How many roughing calls are the Nucks going to get away with after the whistle here?

That stuff has to be let go now. Both sides are trying to intimidate the other.

A lot of feeling out going on right now. I expect this thing to pick up in another five minutes or so.

And it's snowing in Luongoville.

AND ITS TURNING INTO A BLIZZARD!

Haha, yeah, this is pretty funny. And awesome. Especially when it's a nancyboy like Perron doing it. Dude makes Patrick Kane look like, well, Sean Avery.

Hey, they are playing the Hawks' goal song at GM Place!

It's reminding me of the series they played a few years back (when the Blues were consistent contenders)

What the [expletive] was that dirty [expletive]? Edler. What a goon.

EDIT: Replay made that look even worse than it was. Vancouver fans booing that? Ugh.

Ok I know this is the playoffs and there's emotion and [expletive]... but O'brien should get an EXTRA roughing there... you can't do that.
