I live in Wisconsin and get Brewers games on FSN here and they are playing tonight against the Padres. In the first inning a fly ball was hit to Braun and somehow he missed it and it hit him in the hand/wrist area on the fly. The camera kept showing him during the inning and he kept trying to flex it and he looked real angry and now he was just taken out after the inning. Could be something to keep an eye on.

As I am typing this the announcers say it is a thumb injury.

Yeah well I'll probably watch most of the game so if they say anything more I will post it. It was on his right hand and even if it's just a bruise that could hold him out for a week or so as it's nearly impossible to grip/swing/hold a bat without you thumb.

Braun is going to get an X-Ray. They did an interview with Macha after it happened and he didn't seem optimistic about the injury.

I'm not disappointed. I would never hope for an injury to be serious. Call it old school, but I'm in the "beat them when they are at their best" camp for whatever reason.
