Now that I've gotten the board software up to the latest version...now it's time to try and integrate phpbb3 with joomla. This is where it could get a little freaky. :)

fascinating. The dual login is working. Sort of.

 

If you log in through phpbb, then it doesn't auto-login to the front page cms.

 

If you log in through the front page cms, it does auto-login to phpbb...but...

1) if you're using subsilver2 the display looks fine

2) if you're using prosilver the display is fubar.

 

sheesh.

Can't quite seem to get the style up and running to match the front page, either. Well, it's up, but it just isn't functioning correctly.

So for those of us who are computer illiterate and didn't understand any of your previous posts - are we going to be seeing any updates on the site or is this all just behind the scenes software update stuff?

It's only updates to the database it seems... more maintenance than anything cosmetic.

Last night's work is primarily behind the scenes stuff. But...

 

- All logins should work for the front page of the site (not important yet, but enables future plans).

- If you go to the user control panel, there's the beginnings of a new style there that mirrors the front page (selectable from the board preferences tab)

 

but all the other stuff is pretty much invisible.
