make fun of murph all you want but at least he talks Cubs & baseball. The rest of the hacks on there talk Bulls, Bears, etc. Murph is a diehard baseball & Cub fan & there is not much better than talking hot stove baseball this time of year.

Murph is my very favorite radio guy. He loves the Cubs and reminds me of old school fans from my dad's generation. I would admit that some of his ideas are pretty crazy though.

Mike Murphy should be banned from radio. He is a terrible analyst with a terrible voice and even worse gimmickry. It's like a two hour Brown's chicken commercial. He cuts in on people making points with all his yeah and uh-huhing, like he isn't listening at all, rather just waiting for the next thing to say. He knows little to nothing about statistics and is basically a moron who gives Cub fans a bad name. I get that he was a bleacher bum, but how that entitles someone to a sports radio show is beyond me.

 

Boers and Bernstein can be brilliant at times, however.
