yeah, no- he gets fatigued after like 2 ABs

 

unless physically being able to play in more than 20 games a year isn't a tool

 

at which case you're still wrong. Pie's tools have never been in doubt

I think people are underestimating Rocco's disease and what it did to him as a player. Being a diabetic I can't even imagine what it would be like if I lived in a world that didn't understand my condition and I suffered for years waiting for them to figure it out.

 

If they've finally figured it out, then Rocco just might be the sleeper of this free agent class. Probably could be had for a low base + incentives for 2009. What we saw (finally) at the end of last season leads me to believe he's on his way back. He's only 27 so it's not like hoping that some washed up player pulls one more year out of his butt.

 

If he's cheap, it's a no brainer.
