So I missed out on a bye by 16 measly points, so now I have to win 3 games instead of 2 to win the championship. And I get stuck with a horrible matchup this week. So, who to start, who to sit.

I can start 2 of the following:

Chris Johnson vs. Cle

Brandon Jacobs vs. Phi

Clinton Portis @ Bal

Also in my other league, start 3 of the following:

Marshawn Lynch vs. Mia

Clinton Portis @ Bal

Ronnie Brown @ Buf

Steve Slaton @ GB

Finally, select 2 of the following:

Marquis Colston vs. Atl

Lance Moore vs. Atl

Steve Breston vs. Stl

Thanks for your help.

Don't start Portis. Ravens D + Portis less than 100% = minimal points. I'd probably wouldn't start both NO WRs. Colston is the best talent, but Moore has been the most productive. Kinda a coin flip.

Portis is banged up and will be a gametime decision so taking him out of your choices settles your first and second groups. In your 3rd set, I look for Brees to light up the Falcons so I'd take both of his receivers there.

Should I start SD's defense vs. the Raiders or Denver's D vs. KC?

That's a tough one. I think SD though.

OK second week of the first round for me. I won the first week by 19 points so I have a fairly big advantage here.

Pick One

Aaron Rodgers vs. Hou

Tyler Thigpen vs. Den

Pick Two

Michael Turner vs. NO

Steve Slaton vs. GB

Peyton Hillis vs. KC

Steven Jackson vs. Ari

Pick Two

Roddy White vs. NO

Andre Johnson vs. GB

Calvin Johnson vs. MIN

Lance Moore vs. ATL

Those are all pretty good matchups. I think Turner and Andre Johnson have done enough to be locks. The only one I would say definitely NOT start is Hillis, and that's more based on the talent you have. He's by far the least talented of your RBs, regardless of the matchup, you don't want to lose because you put in a guy who was on waivers 2 weeks ago over a top 3 round RB.

I'd probably go:

Rodgers

Turner

Slaton

A Johnson

White

Though that 2nd WR decision is a coin flip.

Have to start two of these three backs:

B. Jacobs

S. Slaton

S. Jackson

Jacobs is a lock, so it comes down to Slaton or SJax? I'm leaning Slaton, since the Rams might get behind the Cardinals early and just throw a lot, but still unsure. Other thoughts?

I'd go with Slaton too, Green Bay is 27th against the rush.

I'm in a must, must win this week to make the playoffs.

I'm debating between:

QB: (Pick Two) All have pretty favorable matchups.

Favre (SF is 28th against the pass)

Cassel (SEA is worst in the league against the pass - I thought that was the Bears)

Ryan (NO is 24th against the pass)

WR: (Pick One)

TO (against the #1 pass defense in the league), my other two options are Marques Colston/Wes Welker.

RB: (Pick Two) I'm honestly tempted to sit Addai even though Lynch has the least favorable matchup. Addai keeps sucking for me.

Lynch (MIA is 11th against the run)

Addai (CIN is 24th against the run)

Larry Johnson (DEM is the 28th against the run)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
