Peterson is some kind of smart. I wonder why he doesn't have a full time gig? Anyway, my wife and I were driving back from Nashville this morning and he was on XM with Holden Cawfield. He has a company that does biomechanical analysis of pitchers. Apparently he did it with the Mets but he made it sound like both the pitchers and the Mets didn't like him doing it. He was discussing this in the context of the $300,000,000 wasted on pitchers who were on the DL in 2007. He was also talking about TJS and said it is becoming an epidemic even on the amateur level.

two things with the mets. He pushed for victor zambrano. And he couldn't "fix" Ollie Perez.

He might have pushed for Victor Zambrano but only and idiot would have traded Kazmir for him. Getting Zambrano wasn't the worst part of the trade.

Rumor was he(and Al Leiter) hated Kazmir and wanted him gone.

on a realted note. Holden Koushner is a great XM personality. Cub Fan and fun to listen to. Call in sometime and he usually gives Cub fans at least 5 minutes to talk.

He is some kind of smart... He studied under James Andrews (the Birmingham TJS wizard), and I think he holds a doctorate or is very close to one...

He got a raw deal, getting hosed under Willie Randolph. He had 3 20-game winners on his staff in Zito, Mulder, and Hudson... The guy knows his stuff, and actually predicted the demise of Mark Prior and his 'perfect mechanics'...
