What would you do in this trade?

I'm 0-4-1 in my money league..I don't know how.10 team league.This is the best team Ive had in years and looks great on paper..

 

QB: Brees

RB: S. Jackson

RB: Matt Forte

WR: Steve Smith

WR:Torry Holt

WR: Marvin Harrison/Eddie Royal

TE:Shockey

K:S. Grahm/Akers

 

I got offered Larry Johnson and either Roy Williams or Chad Johnson for Forte and my backup QB which is Eli Manning..Its a fair trade..I can just shake things up with my team since im 0-4 or justkeep it the same and hope things pan out..Forte has been awesome and LJ has been hot and cold...Roy Williams has been Ehhh and theres rumors of him going to San Fran..What would you do?

There's always the risk of rookie RBs hitting a wall in the second half. Will that apply to Forte? Hard to tell. I don't know how Orton's newfound passing game is going to affect him. On one hand, defenses have to play more honestly, which is good for him, but on the other, he won't touch the rock as many times if he keeps it up. Trading Forte now arguably could be a case of trying to sell high. As for OC, hard to tell if he's going to get back on track this year. I like Johnson more for the second half than Forte (barely) for the reasons stated above, but it's close. That leaves the rest of the trade as Eli for Williams or OC. That's not a fair deal there, I'd want more back on that. You can also frame this deal to the other guy that you're giving up two guys who have been reliable scorers all year (Eli and Forte) for two guys who neither are sure things to do well on any given week. I'd ask for both OC and Williams if you're interested in those two, and add some crap from your bench so the numbers work.

You need WR help. Harrison and Holt have been horrible this year. Steve Smith missed 2 games due to suspension. It's not surprising you're 0-4-1. I'd want him to add more, you are giving up a top RB and a top QB, don't devalue Eli just because he's your backup. But you should be interested in LJ and Williams. I would either try for a better WR or get him to give up both Williams and Ocho.

Haha..I know..When I drafted someone said the same thing..my team is all veterans and wouldve been all star caliber team 2 years ago..I traded for Roy Williams in a different deal.hopefully he picks it up
