Now that AZ is formally eliminated from postseason consideration, which team will finish their choke job next?

So long as Houston doesn't win out, otherwise it gets messy for us as well. If Houston loses one of their next three, then I'm all over both losing out.

Hopefully the Phillies lose out as well, causing a three way tie. Then after the play-in games, the Mets and Brewers end up getting into the playoffs.

 

I'm not necessarily scared of any of the NL teams, and I think the Cubs should beat them all, but I'd rather the Phillies not make the playoffs.

Now that AZ is formally eliminated from postseason consideration, which team will finish their choke job next?

 

It's amazing that Arizona has gotten no media attention for their choke job even though they went from 4.5 up entering play on Aug. 30 to 3.5 back on Sept. 10. That's an eight game swing in 11 games and 12 days. But because it happened in the beginning of September and it's on the West Coast, it's not talked about all that much.

 

Also, the DBacks were 23-12 before getting swept by the Cubs in early May. Since then they are 57-68.
