Fukudome highlights on youtube

I've watched some of his Japanese highlights on youtube and most of them show him turning on pitches and driving the ball to right field.

 

He's done very little of that with the cubs.

 

Any ideas on why he continually opens up so much now? Seems like it's totally outside of what he was doing in Japan.

looks to me like he's flying open in a lot of those highlights too, he's just driving pitches inside. No one in the MLB pitches him inside unless it's way out of the zone

Are we sure that's OUR Kosuke Fukudome?

The guy in the video hit more XBH's in 2:38 than our Fuku has all year. And he didn't spin around like a top ONCE.
