I didn't see the game, and he's not mentioned in recap so I would guess its a mistake and he didn't. However he could have come in and got caught stealing. I think it would go for an out on Ziegler but maybe not.

Nevermind figured it out I believe. Street pitched and then the A's batted and won in a walkoff. Street was likely pinch hit for and then the A's won. Ziegler was the guy up in the pen and thus would have pitched. He shouldn't be in the boxscore but that is what happened.

I thought maybe it was a typo but they put it in the play-by-play section as well (it doesn't make sense there either). So I suppose somebody told somebody the wrong thing.

The pitcher would not have been pinch-hit for in an AL game.

Yahoo's box score is simply screwed up; it's a common occurrence with their box scores, for some reason. MLB.com's box score rightfully has no mention of Ziegler.

Yahoo is [expletive]. Neither ESPN nor mlb.com have Ziegler coming into the game.
