Ahh, Chris Huseby got the start in the Mesa season finale: 2 IP, 6 H, 5 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 0 K, WP.

Dionis Nunez followed with 3 good relief innings. Toby Matchulat had a good first inning of work following Nunez with no control issues.

What happened to Vitters?

No clue, but he's back in Boise's lineup today. :)

Any reason why Hoffpauir got only 1 at bat an then DuBois took over at 1st? Hopefully they were just giving him the rest of the night off. It would suck if he got hurt just before the September call up.

I'm thinking they took him out after getting his 100th RBI on the triple. Amazing ... 100 RBI and 61 EBHs in just 71 games. Has be one of the most remarkable AAA seasons in a while.
