Fun fact - the Houston Colt 45s recently became known as the Houston Astros. And by recently, I mean 1965.

I'll get off your lawn now.

CUBS had a starting rotation of Jackson, Buhl, Ellsworth, Hendley & good ol' Cal Koonce !! (who died prematurely 17 years ago) !!

Surely CC won't be taken out after a mere 101 pitches. Go with your gut, Ned.

It's still a really close game, and you don't want CC to get rusty. Leaving him in the rest of the way is a win-win.

Corey F. Hart hits a no-doubter. 8-2 crew.

I really really hate him.

I can't say his name without including the middle name. I don't think I ever have.

Keep running CC into the ground for when it counts (and when my fantasy baseball season is over), Yost.

Sabathia on deck. He's 2 for 3 with a couple RBIs, so he could just be hitting for himself before relief comes in for the ninth, but the bullpen is dead. CG for CC!!

i love cc, but i hope this comes back to bite the brewers in the ass so bad.

He's still been pretty strong, and CC is a rental player. I have a feeling that if this comes back to bite anyone, it's gonna be whoever signs him to that mammoth contract he's going to sign this offseason.

That quick inning was probably bad for Sabathia. Yost is a blithering idiot, but he's not mentally handicapped. If CC was up around 120 he wouldn't bring him back for the 9th. With him only throwing 111 so far, Yost will probably get those CG stars in his eyes and make him throw 130.

Rental player or not, he wore out last year in the playoffs for the Indians. It seemed pretty clear.
