I want to view this video but can't; YouTube says it's a private video.

I'm a bit surprised they do this event during the season.

It would probably be hard to get players together in Chicago during the off-season... Unless KW thinks doing it in Mesa during Spring Training makes sense, I don't see another way.

I understand why they do it when they do it (for the reasons you explained), I'm just surprised that the front office is OK with it. Front office types are paranoid about their players doing ANYTHING but playing baseball.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it seemed like a few years ago it was basically Wood, Clement, Prior and a few bullpen guys - seems now like the entire team is attending.

Pretty cool how these guys get along. I'm not at all big on the chemistry stuff, but it is cool to at least have the impression that our players all get along.

Heard on MJH yesterday that DeRosa threw a party at his house in ATL the other night, and 23 of the 25 players were there. That's pretty awesome.

No word on who the two who weren't there are, but maybe there's a couple players who live in ATL who took the time to be with family instead... That or they're just jerks who don't like their teammates.

Aramis didn't feel like hustling over there and Cedeno looked too young so the bouncer wouldn't let him in.

Lol, Cotts looks like the type of kid who would be a complete [expletive] in high school.

Also, who's Dirk?

Z - "I don't know to much about the holding the ball or the grabbing the ball."

Marmol's response was awesome.
