Just absolutely terrible defense. Awful.

Campbell and Pelletier both went crashing into the corner and left Svatos wide open.

The Colorado announcers just said, "well, we haven't seen Havlat in awhile."

Did WGN say something?

Yea he won't return today, that's all we heard.

Wow, guess I wasn't the only one who threw in the towel on that one. The Pens/Caps game was a much better call at that point.

This Daily Herald gamer is full of good info:

Khabi and Sharp "very close" and Pahlsson in a week? That's great, even if it does nothing to help out the back line.

I just don't get how we went from being overstocked with solid d-men to this so quickly.

I heard Pahlsson saying he hasn't even really been working out for awhile. The impression I got was that he's not even in playing shape.

Yea, you can't work out when you have mono... it sucks. If you work out you could rupture your spleen. It took me out for 7 weeks when I had it.

So given that, I'd be surprised to see Pahlsson back in a week. If he is back, I'd expect it to be at a lower level than normal.

Since the deadline the Canes are 4-0-0 outscoring their opponents 23-6, or 5.75 GFG to 1.50 GAG.

This one will be tough, lets end their winning streak! Gotta keep Staal and Cole under control and we'll be fine. Ward has been incredibly hot as of late, as well.

I see the 'Nucks are only 5 points back (though the Hawks have a game in hand). This is a pretty big game tonight.

Yeah they blew a chance against MIN a few nights ago.

I agree this is a big game.

Is the PA announcer Harvey Wittenberg?

I recall hearing that Honda would be gone for all of March. That doesn't sound like Harvey though.
