Makes you wonder if theres something more wrong with Braun then they're letting on. Wouldnt they want to pinch hit with him in this kind of situation?

 

I don't think Braun's injury is serious -- Yost probably just wants to get him a full day off or two against a bad team just as a precaution. Of course, we don't know anything because the Milwaukee sports media is pretty worthless when it comes to covering the team on a day-to-day basis.

 

As crazy as it sounds, Braun's not really a guy I like seeing up in those situations, anyway...he's too much of a free swinger, and at least Branyan isn't allergic to taking walks (it ended up not mattering, anyway, since Branyan was IBB'd).

Yost take his players health into consideration? Surely, you jest. But who needs Braun when you have Mike Rivera v. the worst team ever assembled?

too bad he didn't blow his knee out, then ned would've put him back out there.

Nah, he'd only do that if it was a game in April against the Cubs. :lol:

And the game gos into extras, much to the dismay of the Natspos who just want to get back to the hotel.

 

The Nats do sort of remind me of that South Park episode where all the little league teams wanted to lose so they could quit playing.

the meat of there order is probably like the 7-8-9 of the cubs at times lol..
