Teams may claim players just to keep proposed trades from going through if you do that.

isn't that kind of the point?

 

seems like it would be easier than me going through every team's roster and saying who i would claim. plus, you know half the teams aren't going to announce who they're putting on waivers.

 

it'd just be easier to say i want to trade teix to someone for prospect A and you would put a claim in on teix, stopping the trade. then i can decided whether i want to pull him back. would have the same effect as me just putting him on waivers and you putting a claim in for him.

does this process work? people who don't post at nsbb aren't going to know who is on waivers and aren't going to put their own players on waivers.

Yeah, I don't think this works until everyone is using NSBB and I still don't think it will work correctly after that.

 

I'd prefer we stick to the trade deadline rule.

I don't recall a single waiver trade actually being made since I've been in Roadkill.
