If the prospect of having 5 or 6 potential world series at bats being Fontenot/Ward/Edmonds against a LHP is too terrifying, then work Jake Fox or Jason Dubois onto the playoff roster.

Or better yet, if he continues to hit at AAA, why not a guy like Matt Craig?

I might consider a guy like Novoa.

 

Novoa hasn't been in the organization since the end of last season. He's at Triple-A Norfolk (Baltimore) right now.

I understand that, but I was making a joke about Jose Ascanio is like the new Roberto Novoa, that the Cubs have Novoa, but someone who is similar.
