CC or Harden had been named to the AL ASG roster and then been traded to the NL before the game is played?

 

Would a traded player report to his old league for the game or be removed from the AL squad or?

They would be removed and replaced from their former squad.

This happened in 2004 with Carlos Beltran when he was selected as a Royal then traded to the Astros. He played in the game as as an Astro. However, that only occurred because Griffey had to be replaced and Beltran was named as his substitute. So that was a unique circumstance upon a unique situation. So I'm not sure what the real rule is under normal circumstances.
