i dunno about you guys, but i was very skeptical when chip and stoney left, even though i wasnt a chip caray fan.

 

i think len kasper is absolutely fantastic.

A broadcaster needs to make his own signature and not steal someone else's. And as much as I hate them the put it on the board yes is a really good homerun call.

from what i've heard, jack brickhouse was pretty terrible. kasper honoring him was cool, but i'm sure i don't want him doing that every time.

Well you all heard wrong then. As for being an apologist for a terrible organization -- you wouldn't have found any announcer that is going to bash his employer back then. You'd have trouble finding that today.

 

Brickhouse is a legend. You're probably just too young to know it, that's all (not meaning that in a negative sense, but if you didn't grow up with him on the TV every day you clearly wouldn't be able to understand).
