While Penn State and Illinois are struggling to score 40, Wake Forest put up 50 in the first half against Georgia Tech.

 

You know, I admit this game was one of the ugliest I've ever seen, but this [expletive] annoys me. Why isn't it while Georgia Tech allows 50 in the first half against Wake, meanwhile, neither team in PSU/IL has allowed that much over a full game. This isn't so much directed at you, but at buffoons like Vitale who talk down the Big 10 because they don't score 100 points against each other.

It's one thing if it was good defense, but you said earlier that it was bad shooting more than anything.

 

And it's more that Big 10 basketball is known for being a slower and more deliberate game with many fewer possessions than other conferences. That, combined with the bad shooting this game had, is a formula for struggling to score 40.
