The paper had a little article about Bedard who told his pitching coach he was gassed after 6 innings. McLaren admits Bedard isn't "capable" of going more than 6 innings. Is this because he was hurt or is hurt or just a guy who is happy with 6 and out of shape? I'm thrilled the Cubs didn't overpay to get this guy.
