Exactly, so what's the difference between Murton and Choo, especially if you overlook the SB differences...

What I'm saying is, why trade for a LF for 6 weeks or so when you can plug Murton in and get relatively the same production without trading anything at all?

I sort out some numbers BA,OBP,SLG,OPS among 500 major players who has minimum 50 PA(reason is that Choo also had little AB due to he joined 31st,May from rehab). I tried to sort the numbers from 14AB Murton has but minimum was 25 plate appearances so I couldn't.

Original msg said if soriano out more than 6 weeks, so I thought choo could be options if possible comparing with his ages and salary.

But I think that you could figure out the difference at least in 2008. If Murton produce the same amount, then I'll buy that.

I'm not saying he's bad, and I'm not saying I wouldn't take him...but for a short term situation, I'd rather Murton just take the ABs than give up a prospect/prospects for a guy who has nowhere to play when Soriano gets back.
