- Only players that have just been drafted or are not currently on the CBS database at the time of the draft are eligible. If a player is added to the database prior to the amateur draft he is free game

so anybody can be drafted and you will hold their rights no matter how long before they are entered onto database? This is a fantastic way to get around the 10 minor league roster spots, I applaud your shenanigans.

Correct. It's like having an additional 5 roster spots with the rights to the player, however, once a player is added to the database then a team will have to make room for that player on the 10 player minor league roster or release him.

 

For next season's amateur draft (AD) you will not get rights to an additional 5 players. You will have to have those spots open. For example, I plan on making all 5 of my picks in this years amateur draft. If none of these players are added to the CBS database before next years AD then I will not be able to draft unless I release one or more of those players.

Well, I am for one. :roll: You know that the draft has been going on for two weeks so I don't think you can claim shenanigans on this.

 

Go ahead and make your pick. I don't think anyone will care since Hosak hasn't made his yet.
