My choice would be trade/DFA Marquis. He does have some value, especially with so many pitching starved teams, however, we all know hat wont happen, so it will be Gallagher to the pen, with Cotts going to AAA or Gallagher to AAA.

I don't even need Hll's return to say the best option is trade/DFA Marquis.

I'm curious to who you put in the rotation at the moment.

I'd try to trade Marquis, and I would be willing to pick up a decent part of the contract to do it. I wouldn't DFA him at this point. Too much contract eaten, not enough benefit by another pitcher being in his place. Of course, how he pitches over the next couple weeks and how Gallagher does in the same timeframe could change that decision.

Well, I was being a bit facetious, but once Marshall is back and Hill is back healthy, either one of those I'd trust more than Marquis. With Hart getting stretched out, I think we have sufficient depth.

Its too bad Hendry didn't dangle Hill for Bedard over the offseason. Maybe the Mariners would be willing to trade him.
