if i'd stuck to my original pitchers, brett tomko and brian burress, i'd be tied for 16th. instead, i've got jose contreras (-47 ESPN, WTF?!?!?) and daniel cabrera, which costs me 108 points of ESPN. just like last year, i'm getting killed by pitchers who are overperforming in the BABIP category.

The break seems to be a good time for people to post where they stand. I'm #385 with 274 ESPN. My latest setback is Sexson being released. I already lost Jacque Jones (released) and Jason Jennings (injury; out for the year). On the other hand, every single player on my roster has a positive ESPN (even Theriot). Jones is still m biggest scorer, but he will likely soon be passed by Kendall and Eaton (unless Philadelphia gets smart and realizes a pitcher who's 3-8, 5.71 has no business being in the rotation for a contender).

Which they just did. Eaton has been demoted to the bullpen to make room in the rotation for Blanton.

I am currently sitting at #103 with an ESPN of 392. My weakest link thus far has been Josh Barfield. The Indians kept him in the minors almost all season (where he struggled), and when they finally called him up he got hurt after 3 games. Hopefully he'll be back soon to give my team a boost.

i'm up to 121st... my change of pitchers has been disastrous, costing me 69 points. i'd be in 8th place if i hadn't made the switch :x

the good news - i'm up to 53rd.

the bad news - i'd be in 4th place if i'd stuck with my original pitchers ](*,)

up to 40th!

i'd be in 2nd place if i hadn't changed pitchers :x

danny cabrera's return to earth has helped a lot though. contreras getting hurt has been a killer. michael bourn has been incredibly awesome, and kudos to tony pena for continuing to be the worst ss despite having about 40% as many ABs as the rest of the contenders.

I'm sitting at #157 right now. This is probably my best (or worst, depending on how you look at it) showing yet.
