PM Issues

I've been having some problems with PMs since the board switch.

 

First, I don't get a popup notification when I get a PM, even though I have it set on the User Control Panel to have a popup. I have a popup blocker on my computer, but with every other site I get the yellow strip for all popups. I don't even get that on NSBB. I've set NSBB as one of my sites to allow popups, but still don't get any sort of notification.

 

My second issue started just a few days ago. My inbox was full (or nearly full, I couldn't tell), and since then it says that I have "2 new messages," when I don't have any new messages. If I get 1 PM, it'll say I have 3 new messages. I emptied my inbox and my sentbox, and it's still an issue. It's not really a big deal, it's just driving me insane to see it.

 

Anyone have any ideas what's going on?

No idea what's going on but I still have issues with staying logged in to this site even though I have it clicked to log me in every time. It's super annoying and frustrating to have to log in every time. And, more often than not, when I submit a post, it logs me out...so then I hit the back button, copy what I wrote, re-log in, find the thread and then paste what I previously tried to post. Often times, it's just not worth the trouble.

I have this same problem. I get all excited thinking I have friends who PM me and then I get into the inbox and it turns out I have 0 PMs. :(

Hopefully Tim's upgrade to the gold version of the software will help. Maybe there were some bugs worked out in the final version.

I was also having this issue, but it seems to have gone away in the gold version. Is it fixed for everyone else?

I just now got it to work for me too. Yay. That was driving me insane.

I now get it sometimes. Other times I don't. I've noticed it only does it if I have a PM waiting on me when I get online, but if I'm already on the board when I get a PM, I don't get a pop up.
