Well, trusting you guys for advice served me well last week(I still lost, thanks Minnesota defense), now I find myself in a similar situation. I'm another <5 point performance away from hiring a hit on Palmer(@ SF), and I have a decent option behind him in Anderson(v. Buffalo). I have Houshmandzadeh and Braylon Edwards, so I have a connection with either QB. Who do you start?

Anderson. He's been very good all year. I signed him as an undrafted free agent for one of my teams, and now he's my starting QB. And that team finished the regular season with an 8 game winning streak, seeded second in the playoffs, and won the first playoff match. So Anderson has been very good for me.

This is a pretty close call -- I would go with Palmer just barely over DA. The 49ers D has been giving up a lot of points the last 3 weeks (31, 31, 27). Additionally, this time of year weather starts to factor into close decisions for me. Its projected to be cold, windy, and snowy this weekend in Cleveland -- that may put a damper on the offensive production of the Browns.

Upon further review, the horrid weather in Cleveland made it virtually impossible for Anderson to put up any production today. Fortunately my opponent's starting QB is Romo, who was even worse (no TDs and 3 INTs with just over 2 minutes remaining).

A thousand thank yous for bringing the Cleveland weather to my attention.

then again, I never thought I'd be bummed out that I started Tom Brady over David Garrard. I still have a couple of players and am hoping to pull things out versus Jazz in our fleaflicker league, but what are the odds?!?

You still have a chance in our matchup as well, if Burress has a big game. Other than him we both have our kickers remaining.

I know it! Both matchups too close to call this week - ack. The tough part is that, if Burress has a big game, that's good in the Yahoo league, but am actually playing against him in the other league. I'll be thrilled if I manage to pull out one win this week.

I'm in a somewhat similar situation. I'm in another Yahoo league where Eli is my QB. So anything Burress does helps me in that league but hurts me in our matchup. Since I lost last week in the first round of the other league and am in the consolation bracket I'm more interested in our matchup.

Your Welcome! Glad that worked out. Hopefully, the rest of your team put up good numbers for you. Westbrook being a team player may have cost me a shot at the championship. I need a miracle game (~200 total yards and 2 TDs) out of Adrian Peterson (the good one) to overcome a huge deficit in my semi-final game. If Westbrook had scored on that last run, it would have made things a little more realistic.
