David Riske-R-Brewers Dec. 5 - 10:03 am et

Brewers agreed to terms with RHP David Riske on a three-year, $13 million contract.

The three-year deal could be worth up to $20 million based on incentives tied to closing games and also includes a $4.75 million option for 2011. Riske is likely to enter the season in a setup role, but could compete with Derrick Turnbow for ninth-inning duties if the Brewers fail to bring in another closer option. A Type B free agent, the Royals will receive a supplemental first-round pick for losing Riske.
