QB Decision: McNabb or Young?

1st round playoff matchup. The Giants and Chargers defenses seem relatively similar, and McNabb is supposed to play. Any thoughts?

I have the exact same decision to make + Kurt Warner as a third option. I am going with McNabb over VY and Warner, but only if McNabb practices and I read news that he looks good. Vince looked great this past weekend, but I'm not sold enough to give him the playoff start and the potential loss of Fitz and Boldin makes Warner less of an option as well.

 

As long as Donovan is healthy, I think we can both look forward to a good game out of him.

 

BTW -- I should mention that I also have Westbrook and the opportunity to potentially double up on FF points further increases my interest in starting McNabb.

When it comes to QB's and I can't decide who to go with, I usually take the safer bet. There's not much difference McNabb and Young at their current best, but at their worst, Young is going to throw three picks and fumble a couple of times, while McNabb would just complete 50 percent of his passes for 150 yards and no TDs.

 

Take the safe bet and go with McNabb.
