I was pulling for Arizona State. Oh well. Now shifting my focus to tomarrow night.

By the way, have you heard anything on the coordinator front? Last I heard we were going to interview Rob Spence of Clemson. That was Friday I believe.

 

It is almost official that Spence will remain at Clemson, and that only solidifies the belief that Kippy has accepted the OC job at Tennessee.

 

We still need a RB coach, QB coach, and TE coach. One of those will likely be the recruiting coordinator. Joe Whitt, Jr's name keeps getting mentioned, though he has primarily been a DB coach. Not sure that he'll transition to the offensive side of the ball, and unless Slade is fired/quits, there is no room on defense.

 

We shall see.

After being originally optimistic about MSU's chances to beat Boston College. I am now hoping we dont get blown out. The only chance we have is for Hoyer to play way above his head. Overall I have decided to be pleased with the direction MSU is going. I wasnt sure what to expect before the season. Pleased we at least made a Bowl game. Somewhat disappointed we lost a couple of games that we should have won. At least we arent just doing stupid thing after stupid thing to lose. Also when the season could have gone in a Tailspin after losing to Michigan. They really pulled it together and finished strong.

 

I agree though if I was going to bet on this game I would take BC and give the points. I will be extremely happy if MSU covers, exstatic if they win.

 

Yeah, MSU is gonna get rolled tonight. But that doesn't mean it was a bad season at all. They have made an amazing turn around and the program is in the right direction. MSU fans should be very proud no matter what happens. That being said, I just put a hundo on BC -5.

People who love college football, like me, watch these bowls and games like Boise St-ECU, CMU-Purdue and Texas-ASU are just three of the reasons why.

Just stop the freakin run. I'm severly disappointed with what was supposed to be the best run defense in the league. Also, protect the darn quarterback. MSU suspends their big pass rushing threat and yet the BC O-line still looks like a siv.

 

Did you also take the over? I was tempted, but BC just didn't seem to score that many points to give me the confidence to do it.

Ryan's numbers: 21/42, 241 yards, 3 TD's, 1 INT. That completion percentage sure sucks, but they're still up by 11. And wow, Boston College has no running game at all. Looks like Jagodzinski is sticking true to his pre-Ryan Grant Packers' ways.

Nope, not at all. That was about as obvious as they come in terms of offensive PI. But it makes up for the obvious catch, down, and then strip in the first quarter that they called an incomplete pass (the one where Ryan bootlegged left then threw down the middle of the field across his body for like 30 yards).

 

The take over on downs has me breathing a bit easier.

They have no running success. Hes making the in-game adjustments that MSU can't seem to figure out.

 

Ryan's completion percentage isn't great because in the first half his receivers/TE kept on dropping balls and now all they are calling for are bombs.
