Padres agreed to terms with RHP Greg Maddux on a one-year contract.

An official announcement regarding a deal that was done two weeks ago. It hasn't been made official, but it was reported then that the two sides settled at $10 million. Maddux, who went 14-11 with a 4.13 ERA last season, will fall in behind Jake Peavy and Chris Young in San Diego's rotation. The team figures to add at least one starting pitcher this winter.

Why is this just being posted on Rotoworld now? This happened a couple weeks ago.
