It was both happy and sad seeing woody out there last night. Probably melancholic. Good to see him pitch well in the playoffs with the last memory being that game 7. I still get goosebumps thinking about that HR.

So we got that going for us....

I was only watching game 7 on TV, but I'never seen Wrigley explode more than it did when he hit that homer. Given the circumstances and the way the game started out, I can't remember Wrigley ever being that loud any other time.

I was numb after Game 6. Sure, I was a little happy, but I couldn't bring myself to get excited because I knew after Game 6 they were going to blow it. And they did. And I was not the least bit shocked.

Yeah, Wood has looked great lately and that's really nice to see. I still find myself wondering whether he could give us 5 or 6 innings in a postseason start, but I know that's unrealistic... at least for this year.
