We have to get together to watch the playoff games. I'm thinking at a bar. I know about 10 other Cub fans who I'm gonna try to get to come, so I think we should all get together and watch the games at a bar. Let me know what you guys think.

Wish I could join you guys back in Columbia...graduated from J-school back in '92. Was trying to get back for the big game next weekend, but we're having an Octoberfest party. But we'll have one TV tuned into the game with the other on the Cubs playoff game. What could be better?

Yeah I'm really conflicted on what I want to do. I'm really, really excited about the Mizzou game, so I hope the Cubs game is at like 3 or something. That way, I can still tailgate before the Cubs game and when the Cubs game ends, I can tailgate some more. I hope we get a couple of victories.

And Cubbies75, I'll let you know what we're gonna do. We could always go to Buffalo Wild Wings or get to a bar early for the game before a bar starts carding.

If the game on Thursday winds up being the 9:00 game, I'm probably going to drive in after work and watch it with one of my few Cubs fans buddies. Probably somewhere low key like the Beanery though, so we can actually watch the game.

Will you Mizzou guys let an old guy (MU BJ 1973) sit in? I'm an hour away. Post when and where you're going to be.

Well, with both games 1 and 2 being at 9, I'm not sure what I'm gonna do. Thursday night I may try Harpos and just get a spot in front of a good tv. Saturday obviously is gonna be hard (MU-NU), but Sunday at 12 we should definitely try somewhere, maybe Harpos or Big 12. I dont know, for anyone interested, let me know what you guys want to do.

I'm going to be in town Thursday night, and while I love me some quarter draws, I'm staying away from Harpo's. I want to be able to watch the game, not worry about some drunk freshman stumbling into me and spilling her beer all over me. We're talking about going to Fieldhouse since they have those huge monitors and if I remember correctly, Fieldhouse is pretty low key on Thursdays. I hope the game ends right around midnight, so that'll leave me with an hour to have a few Boulevards at Quentin's.

Aaahhhh, it's nice to know Harpo's is still doing quarter draws. I sure drank my fill of beer for $5, that's for sure...still have the cups to prove it.

Haha I looooooove me some Harpo's.

See I would do what you're doing Mizzou, except I have friends coming in from Northern Illinois and Marquette, and I've been talking about Harpo's so I feel we have to go there. We'll see though. Two of em are Cub fans so they may want to watch the game somewhere more chill.
