....any chance he starts?

 

Ronny has come on strong, if there's no ARod/Renteria/etc. here next year, I hope he gets a fair chance to win the job because he's a better talent and appears to be improving his strike zone discipline.

I don't think there's any chance of that right now. Managers just don't like to change things up this close to the playoffs, even if it would probably be for good. I do echo Raisin's thoughts that if a SS isn't acquired that Cedeno should get a good shot at winning the job next year.

Nice not to give a crap about the outcome, but I'm still watching closely to see how a few particular players perform.

I thought about that, but I've decided that this will be my one weekend to just relax and take a break from the Cubs. They've determined my mood on a daily basis for six months now, and I'm enjoying the break. I do hope to see some of these guys make a case for a spot on the playoff roster and earn some playing time while they're there.

Yup those are the 2. I'm in the light blue polo. Like I said, not the best pictures, but I love that I got in the paper! My friend JP (NSBB name: polosprt009) is the guy with the blue cubs shirt and blue hat thats on the left screaming in the second picture
