This may already be in a thread, but since the search is disabled, ill ask anyway...

 

Could someone please give me step by step directions on how to watch the cubs on sopcast? I just moved to Michigan, and even though i get comcast chicago, they black out the games. I dont want to miss a second of the action, so please please please help me out!

Peer-to-peer sharing of streaming video. Essentially, it's just like sharing music or files over the internet, except with TV. One person uploads it by connecting their TV connection to their computer, then others connect to that person and both watch it and pass it along to other viewers. So the more users watching, the better the quality of the stream for everyone (assuming their internet connections can handle passing the video along to other users).

 

It's great for watching things like the Rugby World Cup or soccer that aren't televised here in the US.

I took a very brief look at this earlier, and it appears that it won't yet work for Macs. Anyone know of a way to get this to work for them?
