The only questions remaining are whether Alamo Stealth or Northside Baseball will get the #1 seed in the West, and who will wind up #3 in the East (HBC and Buddiga currently tied; Bayou Bashers could make it a three-way tie).

Raw, since you've already clinched the East, feel free to rest your starters for the playoffs this week and let me beat you to finish .500. You don't want to wear your players out or risk injury for a meaningless game. :D

Playing out these last few weeks is tough. I want to field my best team so that those who are competing for the play-offs have competition, but my season is over :(

A couple more no-hitters by my young pitchers would cheer me up.

Question: Teahen came off the DL, can I just cut Cameron and put Teahen back in the starting lineup?

should not be a problem.

Ok good, I just wanted to make sure.

NC Cubs and Raw Dawgs are dead even at 72.25.
And I haven't had any pitching starts yet. However, I'm going to wind up short on starts this week, thanks to Marshall being skipped in favor of Trachsel and Reyes being demoted to the Cardinals' bullpen.

That may be to your benefit, if your guys pitch anything like mine. Hudson gives up 5 early, and has to struggle to get to -5.5.

Could be; I've had a couple weeks where I would have been better off benching my entire staff and going with zero starts.

wow, the east is getting interesting.

if buddiga pulls off the huge comeback and HBC ends the season with its third straight loss, buddiga is in, right?

i wasn't sure who i wanted to face in the first round, but this week has made me realize i want nothing to do with arod next week.

My pitching has been my death! I did however get three solid starts tonight to pull back ahead (only by 5pts). I'll be at a 2-1 disadvantage IF the Texas pitcher pitches tomorrow, which is apparently up in the air. I have Penny going vs SF, so he better have a good outing.

I'm hoping to back in to the playoffs and pull a St. Louis Cardinals.

Looks like I'm going to knock off Raw this week despite having only 4 pitching starts. Three of them were Marquis (20.05 points), Glavine (28), and McGowan (32.75). Quality over quantity. And it was Raw that traded McGowan to me. :D

Yep, McGowan 32.75. Raw Dawgs starting pitching in 6 starts 31.5.

At least that's better than the week my pitchers combined for negative points for the week.
