Deleting yahoo leagues?

Anyone know how to get out of a public league? I was placed in 2 for some odd reason, that I don't want to be in.

Yahoo rules indicate that you can delete a team if the draft hasn't been held yet, but not after the draft has been completed.

How do I remove my team from a league?

 

Pre-draft:

You can remove yourself from a league only if it's before the league's draft has occurred. Click "Edit" under the My Leagues area of the Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football home page to remove yourself from a league.

 

If you've purchased a team and you remove yourself from a league, you have one unused credit associated with your Yahoo! ID.

 

Post-draft:

When the draft has been completed within a given league, teams can no longer be removed from the league. Similarly, we cannot reassign existing teams to new Yahoo! IDs.

It's for college pick'em though, so there is not draft.

It's for college pick'em though, so there is not draft.

Ah. I don't think you can delete your team from those contests; you can simply not participate, you'd be shown at the bottom of the standings with zero points, and that wouldn't affect anybody else. It's different than a regular fantasy league where you're matched head-to-head against another team.
